Accountant / Office Manager

Central Austin Client is looking for an experienced part time accountant/ office manager for their new office.

This position is part time (20-25 hours a week)

Main responsibilities include:
Process all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Business to Business Collections
Posting payments to the General Ledger
Ordering supplies for the office
Additional administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:
2+ years accounting experience
Must want a part time position
Degree in accounting a plus
Experience with property management a plus

Accountants Payable

Candidate will be responsible for scanning vendor invoices, compiling data, classifying records, obtaining required approvals, and verifying and maintaining payments.
Candidates must have the following qualifications to be considered:

3+ years of relevant accounts payable experience
Strong MS Excel skills
Self starter, organized and detail-oriented
Ability to multi-task, solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience with Quickbooks a plus

Payroll

2+ years experience processing bi-weekly payroll, to include direct deposit and payroll taxation set-up. Maintenance of employee garnishments and deductions. Process manual checks as required. Issue stop payments on payroll checks as required. Review payroll audit reports. Process and reconcile year-end and W-2's.

Strong Excel skills and experience in with a large ERP system.
